If it were possible to leave zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, one star is the lowest rating Google allows. This was my second visit to Comberton Post Office, and unfortunately both experiences were disappointing. The branch appeared poorly organised, with parcels scattered around the premises rather than being stored in an orderly manner. On my previous visit, it took approximately 20 minutes for the assistant to locate my parcel after searching through numerous boxes. During my most recent visit, I simply wanted to send an important letter by First Class post. After weighing my letter, the assistant spent several minutes searching through drawers and stamp booklets before telling me that individual First Class stamps were unavailable and suggesting Recorded Delivery instead. I explained that I had already sent the same documents by Royal Mail Signed For the previous week, but they had been lost, so I did not wish to pay for another premium service. The assistant then opened a drawer containing a large quantity of First Class stamps but told me he could only sell an entire booklet and was unable to sell a single stamp. I politely asked for an explanation because, as a customer, I found this confusing, but no clear explanation was provided. After seeking advice, I returned and requested a Second Class Signed For service. Despite clearly stating my request, the assistant asked whether I wanted First Class or Second Class, which added to the confusion. Once the transaction was complete, I politely asked for the assistant’s name and the branch address because I wished to make a formal complaint. Instead of explaining the complaints procedure or assisting with my request, he refused and instructed me to leave the shop. I calmly asked on what basis I was being asked to leave, as I had remained polite throughout, had not raised my voice, and had not behaved in an abusive, threatening or disruptive manner. No explanation was given. I had simply asked for the information needed to make a complaint. His mother, who was working in the shop, then became involved. She raised her voice and shouted at me while speaking with him in another language. I found the situation intimidating. As the assistant refused to identify himself, I explained that I would take a photograph solely for identification purposes so that I could accurately identify the member of staff when making my complaint. In response, both of them began recording me on their mobile phones and continued filming me until I reached my car. At no stage was I rude or confrontational. I simply wanted to purchase a postal service, understand the options available to me, and obtain the branch details so I could raise a complaint through the proper channels. Everyone can have a difficult day, but customers should reasonably expect professionalism, courtesy, clear communication and respectful treatment. Unfortunately, based on my experiences, that was not the standard of service I received at this branch.

I went too the post office to post two parcels, I was stood in line the woman in front of me was served however when I got the counter he said that the post office was closed. I went at 11:45 and even though the website said the post office closed at 12:30 he refused to serve me!! Very disappointed with the rude staff, not worth the journey.

Stopped using this place years ago, would rather drive to toft or Barton. Standards as low as you can get, and you have to check sell by dates on everything you pick up.

One of the staff members of the post office asked me rejoin the queue of 4 people after he made a mistake and caused a big delay even though he saw me i had frames on my both legs and i was using crutches , and also the post office does not follow the official working hours, so do not expect them to be open on Sundays. one of the worst experiences is that i have been unlimited times overcharged on my credit card ( cash withdrawal ). I have complained to many times but nothing has changed in my future shopping.
