Never open. They chop and change their opening hours to when they feel like it. Don’t rely on what google says, especially if you don’t drive and have to walk there. I specifically ask the staff when they are open and then the next day the hours change. The staff get stroppy and complain when you ask why the post office is closed.

If I could give ZERO stars for this place I would! Absolutely appalling service since it was taken over by new Post office staff. The previous owners who ran it for years were absolutely wonderful and were polite, professional, well organised and hard working. Went to collect a parcel from here today after receiving an email from The Royal Mail to say it was ready for collection. I queued for 20 mins and when I eventually got to the counter and showed the lady my QR code, she looked at me puzzled as if to say "what am I supposed to do with that!". I had already said I was collecting a parcel, and she huffed and puffed before reluctantly going out to the back of the store to find it. She returned about 5 minutes later to say it wasn't there and basically that was that. I said it had to be there because I had an email from the Royal Mail, and she just shrugged. I left the store and sat in my car to make sure I had read the email and tracking of the order correctly - which I had. So I returned to the store and waited in the queue for a further 10 minutes. Eventually I asked the other lady who was serving at the 'goods' counter if she could kindly have a look for me being as there were no customers in her queue. She kindly went out the back and returned with my parcel!!!!!!! I said to the post office lady that she should have looked harder and an apology would be nice. She did half-heartedly then say 'sorry' but only because I asked her to! This store - especially the post office service was brilliant for approximately 24 years with the previous owners running it professionally. I will NEVER EVER use this store or Post office again in my life. Customer service doesn't appear to exist these days - what a sad world we live in!

I'm just glad I drive because I won't be going back to this post office, how can a post office that is meant to be open until gone 9pm tell me to come back because some woman decides that she wants to count up the till at 6pm on a Friday evening.
