Went to collect a parcel, there was yet another tatty sign up, saying Post office closed, when I enquired why I was told because her manager was counting the parcels!! This is not the first time I’ve experienced this with this branch but quite frankly will definitely be my last, there doesn’t seem to be any organisation or system to the parcel area, the staff are awful and the way they speak to one another is something else! On a previous failed visit, the women behind the counter was literally shouting to her colleague who was sat in the office at the rear of the shop! Other waiting customers who I have encounter previously, are all saying the same thing, their experience too has been far from good. Seriously, the shop is a mess, the post office is a waste of time and as for the staff, absolutely appalling! 😡

The argumentative guy behind the counter (doing nothing at the time) tries to tell me that I need to come earlier to post something as they are short staffed, priority is the grocery part of the shop. However, not one other person in the shop. Utter nonsense. I forgot it was all about the post office rather than the post office being open for the convenience of the customer. If I could, I would not use this post office, not only because of the made up rules regarding opening hours but because of the unhelpful, unfriendly man behind that counter.

No matter what time of day the Post Office is shut, or they can't print return labels. There were 3 other people there today & we were told the Post Office isn't a priority! Why have it there then???
