- WDWayne DonMay 5, 20261.0My expensive parcel was shipped from here on the 22/04/2026 by trusted and tracked Royal Mail, however once they had their hands on it it vanished off the face of the earth never to be seen again and told to claim against Royal Mail. This one branch must be costing Royal Mail and the people that use there a fortune. Use at your own risk and trust me don’t send anything that worth more than used toilet paper.

I’ve had a particularly busy and stressful few days, otherwise I would have picked it up sooner. The man I spoke to behind the desk was anything but pleasant. Telling me that they don’t have the space to be keeping parcels for anything more than five days, even though DPD informed me that I have a week to retrieve it. If he lacks the space then perhaps he’s unfit to provide the service. He ended his little moan by saying ‘we all live in Amersham, we can all get here sooner’. Does he not understand that some of us have busy schedules? I’ve never had anything except issues and problems with this post office and I’ve heard similar stories with several others. The man clearly hates his job and shouldn’t be working in a post office. From now on I’ll be sticking to the post office in Great Missenden. Far superior in every way.

I don't expect a red carpet when going into the only available post office in town that has to function as shop too. And yes, some days you can tell how people take a toll on each other, but never had a problem. Service is good, unfortunately some days we all turn up at the shop at the same time :)
