  This post office is appalling... what kind of post office doesn't let you pick up your parcels 💀 wouldn't let me collect my parcel at half 6 because "we close at 6" but could somehow still send out other customers' parcels? Selected the post office specifically under the assumption that it was open for collection until 8pm, so wasn't very pleased. More generally, this place just isn't inviting at all. Parcels are stored in an unorganised heap, the place smells weird and there's more cameras on the ceiling than stock (genuinely, how many cameras does a tiny post office need 💀). I was happy to finally get my order the following day, but I'm never ordering another parcel here again. Fix your collection hours!

  Simply hopeless, appalling and in need of a complete restart. This has to be the worst experience I’ve ever had in a Post Office by a country mile! I’m still a bit stunned. Whilst I was queuing for the Post Office counter the man behind it seemed to require a verbal altercation with every polite victim in the queue, who would have to plead their case in order to have him grumpily complete even the most basic of Post Office duties. I had the delight of queueing for even longer than expected because the second rude man from behind the non-Post Office counter said to me “brother, you here to collect a parcel”. I said yes and followed him back to his counter, where I then managed to get him to look up from his phone to be told that his counter didn’t actually let people pick up parcels (as I suspected, hence why I was in the queue for the PO counter), causing me to have to join the other queue I was already in from the back. The gallingly incompetent and rude man behind the counter claimed not to have my parcel when I could see it right behind him on his incredibly badly arranged pile. He cut me off trying to politely explain this to him and shouted over me: “next please!”. It’s no surprise given they were relying on paper records rather than any sort of IT system. Even worse, the handwritten book of fortunate people who this Post Office acknowledges have indeed had their parcels delivered is on public display, and since there was no ID checking going on, you could literally claim anyone’s parcel! And I haven’t even got onto the condition of the shop yet… Photographs of shoplifters blu-tacked to the walls, a door window covered in several layers of tacky stickers so you can’t even see inside, and general clutter as far as the eye can see. I would highly recommend having your post delivered literally anywhere else, it cannot possibly be worse. I certainly shall not be returning! On the positive side, my experience aggravated me so much that it has prompted me to leave my first ever Google review.

  Very rude and totally unhelpful. Received a notification saying the parcel has been delivered and he told me I need to wait 24 hours. Would not recommend

  I strongly dislike coming to this post office to drop off parcels. The store is extremely disorganised, with parcels all over the floor, thrown in bags and behind the counter. The man is also extremely rude and dismissive, tells me that the bags I’m shipping my items in are “unprofessional”, seethes his teeth and rolls his eyes at me and tries to overcharge me for shipping I haven’t asked for.
