Went to send of a parcel I would expect customers to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. I was served by a man who was so unbelievably rude I’m actually upset I don’t understand how a person can behave like that in that establishment.post office to keep people and businesses connected by providing a trusted, accessible network that supports local economies and essential services so I’m shocked I experienced this.

On my most recent visit, he also tried to charge me the medium parcel rate for what was clearly a small parcel. Whenever you ask him to do anything beyond the absolute basics, he acts as though you are asking the world of him. His manner is consistently passive-aggressive, and he was probably the most unpleasant Post Office assistant I have encountered. This is particularly disappointing because my experiences with staff at other Post Offices have always been excellent. Unfortunately, the attitude and customer service I experienced here were completely different.

Since the seller is abroad I had to fill out a customs declaration. I explained this to the lady and she scanned it and said "I don't know what that is" very bluntly. I explained again I was returning a parcel and she said it wasn't packed properly and I'd need to package it. It was in the box that it was delivered in. I said okay can I do that here? And asked where I paid for the parcel bags and whatnot and she said there's a desk over there. And pointed to the empty desk with no server. I eventually just left and packaged the item and by the time I got back she was gone. Clearly didn't want to serve me and I'm glad, she had zero people skills. I'm quite an anxious person so I'm always polite to avoid any conflict. She treated me as though I was stupid. Who works in a post office and doesn't know what a customs declaration is?? Eventually a lovely elderly gentleman helped me. But seriously, to that woman if you hate people so much don't work in customer service.
