There was no greeting or basic courtesy from the moment I approached the counter. Instead, she spoke to me in a very abrupt and dismissive manner. I have never been spoken to like that by a customer service employee before. She shouted at me to put my parcel on a shelf behind me rather than taking it from me. The shelf was in a publicly accessible area and did not seem secure, which left me concerned about the safety of my parcel. Since dropping it off, I have received no tracking updates, and it is still showing as being at the Post Office. While I appreciate delays can happen, my overall experience was made much worse by the poor customer service I received. I believe this member of staff requires further customer service training, as her behaviour was completely unacceptable and fell well below the standard I would expect from the Post Office.

I'm so happy that the back office counters have reopened, it reminds me of my teenage years when I used to post letters and parcels. The previous owner was very rude and miserable. These new owners have given the post office a face lift it is a bustling place with shelves full of goods unlike the dreary drab items left on shelves previously by the old owners.
