Just avoid using them. Nothing has ever been on time and you’re never properly informed. Always expect things to take an extra week even if you pay for one day shipping. It’s insane to me how this place hasn’t been audited but that’s the general quality you find in Savannah. JUST GO WITH UPS OR FEDEX DO NOT WORK WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY CANNOT PERFORM THEIR JOB. My 1 day package is sitting 15 minutes down the road for 3 days now with no hope in sight for an actual delivery date. And yes this happens EVERY time.

EXTREMELY RUDE, SARCASTIC, and ABRASIVE. The woman working with brown hair in a bun Saturday morning 1/3/2026 created the worst encounter I have ever had at a Post Office. She was rude even to elder customers that simply had questions and needed assistance. Such an embarrassment, there is simply no excuse for her behavior. She then had the audacity to tell me to “have a blessed day.” DO BETTER!!!

They take 2-3 days to scan your package into the system if you leave it in the Dropbox inside. Checks get stolen from the outdoor dropbox.

I want to go on record saying that I am proud of my local post office. As a former postal employee, I know that it is not easy to please everyone all the time. In the current climate, with resources being limited and turnover being high, it's even more challenging. I don't know what happened to our former carrier but we were happy with her. Most recently, a package that I mailed did get lost on the way. It did make it out of the Savannah Post Office but did not make it to its destination and we are still trying to locate it. I appreciate the efforts of Mike and Kay in trying to do what they can to track it down. I had to file a claim and Ms. Chantel assisted with getting a reprint of my receipt for me to submit with the claim. Delivering the mail is only part of the job, folks! There's a lot more to it and I appreciate their help and accommodating attitude in the process. They may not be perfect, but they try and I don't take their efforts for granted.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND waste your time going here. The staff are RUDE, unfriendly, and unprofessional. Travis called me and assured me that the mail from my apartment was there at the post office that was not the case. I was told that Travis had our mail from our conversation and he assured me to come down and grab the mail. When I got there after we just spoke on the phone less than three hours ago, Travis was unavailable. The agent was unaware of the circumstances. She had a bad attitude and was not willing to help me so we returned the next day because it was said to us again that Travis had our mail and when we showed up, nobody knew where the mail was. The communication between personnel was very unclear and unorganized. We finally got our mail after talking to more than five agents to resolve our issue.
