They do not keep track of equipment you return to this location. So if you have an Xfinity return do not go here. I was in the middle of talking to her trying to figure out my options and she hung up on me. So being polite with them will get you no where.

To the Store Manager, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unprofessional, dishonest, and discriminatory treatment I received at your Berwick Market Place location on March 7, 2026, at approximately 3:05 PM. I arrived to process an Amazon return for an item I had already placed in a separate shipping box. The male associate repeatedly challenged me, insisting the box was the "original product box." I clearly explained multiple times that the item originally arrived in an Amazon bag and that I had provided my own shipping box. I even removed a code from the inside of the box to comply with his confusing demands. The situation became unacceptable when the associate chose to lie, stating he was refusing my service because I "wasn't answering the question." This was a blatant falsehood; I answered his questions directly, but he seemingly did not like the answers because they prevented him from selling me a shipping bag. I admit that I became frustrated after his constant nit-picking and refusal to accept my truthful explanation that the item did not come in that box. However, instead of providing professional service, the associate escalated the situation by claiming he was "refusing service" because he was "scared.” As an African American, I find the use of this specific narrative claiming "fear" as a pretext to refuse service to a customer who is simply standing their ground with the facts to be a deeply offensive and biased trope. It is a transparent attempt to weaponize "discomfort" to mask a lack of professional integrity and an attempt to force a sale. I would like to note that a second representative assisted me immediately afterward without any "safety" concerns or issues, proving that the first associate’s claims were entirely fabricated. I am requesting a formal response regarding the following: 1. How does your management address associates who lie about customer interactions to justify a refusal of service. 2. What specific training does your staff receive regarding de-escalation versus the use of biased language like "I'm scared" to refuse service and a tool for discrimination. 3. What is the store’s policy on accepting "Customer Packed" items without pressuring customers into purchasing additional packaging? I trust you will take this matter seriously. I frequent this area, but I will not return to a location where my presence is treated as a threat simply because I am standing my ground on a store policy.
