  It’s the holiday season, and yesterday I noticed three different mail carriers on my street making sure all of the mail was taken care of. When I later visited the post office, I learned that my regular mail carrier had been injured and that others were stepping in to cover routes for one another to ensure everyone still received their packages. While nothing I was waiting on was urgent, their extra effort did not go unnoticed. I’m truly grateful for the dedication and teamwork shown, especially during such a busy time of year, that’s why I wanted to take a moment to leave this review.

  As a small business owner, I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this post office and its mail carriers. From the carriers to the manager, Kelly, every single person has been incredibly helpful to me over the past three years. You don’t often think to leave a post office a five-star review, but this one deserves far more.

  I love my local Post Office here in St. Marys, Georgia. Every time I come in for shipping packages, buying stamps, etc., the employees are so nice and friendly! They are knowledgeable and helpful. I’ve been to a lot of post office’s, but none as joyful as this one!

  I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the passport application service received at the St. Mary's Post Office location regarding an application for a minor. If I could give 0 stars, I would. On the initial visit, the staff, including the postmaster, misinformed my mother about the policy for a minor's passport application. We were incorrectly told that both parents were required to be present, despite providing the notarized consent form (DS-3053), valid identification, and a copy of the parents' licenses, as clearly outlined in the official documentation. This misunderstanding of policy necessitated two separate 30-minute drives to this location, resulting in significant inconvenience for my family. The minor also had to miss school on a separate day because the staff claimed no appointments were available after 2:30 p.m. It was only after repeated conversations with the staff over three days—and confirmation from the national passport information line that our understanding of the policy was correct—that the application was finally accepted. The experience was frustrating and could have been avoided with proper training on the applicable forms and procedures. I do not recommend this post office for passport services and urge you to conduct a policy review and provide additional training to the staff, particularly concerning minor passport applications.
