  I had an expensive package shipped to this location because I wouldn’t be home to sign for it, and it was quite unique and valuable. I also didn’t want it sitting outside all day. The large retailer I purchased from said that this location was in their records as a location they do business with. I went on FedEx’s website, and got the maximum dimensions and weight excepted for this location. My package fit all of them, and was actually smaller than the maximum size and weight they would accept. I was told the package had arrived at the location. When I got there to pick it up, the fellow who worked there told me that it was at another location about 40 minutes away. When I asked him why they didn’t ship the package to this location, he started getting rude and condescending with me, telling me that this was a small location, and they don’t have much room, and that my package was probably too large. After explaining that I went to the FedEx website, and that my package met their maximum requirements, he shrugged his shoulders at me and looked at me like “what do you want me to do about it”? I just wanted an explanation of why the package wasn’t shipped there, why FedEx states the size limits on their website, why they wouldn’t accept the size that FedEx said they should, and who made the decision not to ship it there. Again, he told me that I should’ve had it shipped to a different location, and continued to be condescending and rude. He stated that if the package wouldn’t fit on their shelves, they would not accept it. I told him the package would fit on the shelf, but he continued to be rude to me, and was very quick to dismiss my inquiries. So now my package is most likely going to be shipped back to the retailer, and then need to be shipped out again. Hopefully it won’t get damaged or lost in the process. I’ve had more problems shipping FedEx in the last three years than I ever have. It seems like their customer service and quality have gone way down. And on top of that, they are hiring rude employees who could certainly use some customer service lessons! If you’re picking up a package there, the staff will most likely be courteous. But if you have a problem,or questions, don’t expect the help to be any good or polite! Shame on FedEx for allowing these mistakes to happen!
