- JCJanisa CamilleJan 28, 20261.0I have been coming to this UPS location regularly and have never had an experience like the one I had today. I went in to pick up a package and calmly explained that I had spoken with someone on January 21st to request that my package be held because I had been sick with the flu. The employee assisting me, Gary, immediately told me to “slow my roll” and repeatedly instructed me to “relax,” despite the fact that I was not upset or speaking aggressively. I was simply providing information as he stated he could not locate my package. When I asked if there was a manager I could speak with, he pointed to a card and said the manager would be in at 11. I explained that his tone and demeanor were unprofessional, at which point he accused me of being unprofessional for asking him to double-check the system and verify who was working that day. He made no real attempt to help, did not check to see if the package had been returned, and offered no resolution. My package was never found. The interaction felt dismissive and included microaggressive behavior that was completely unnecessary and inappropriate. This was disappointing, especially since I have typically had good experiences at this location. I will be following up with management and corporate regarding both the missing package and today’s conduct. I hope this location takes customer service and accountability seriously moving forward.
