The best post office around: one of, if not the only one(s) around powerful enough to deliver a package to the next city over, next-day.

Not that the USPS really cares about negative feedback, I feel compelled to share my experience. I requested a business mail box be re-keyed and paid the required fee. Was notified the key was ready for pick up and when I went in I was told my key was mistakenly given to the wrong person. When the individual notified the post office they were given the wrong key, he was instructed to bring the key back in. He said he couldn’t because he “gave it to the resident”. This isn’t possible because the “resident” is an empty store front. They did no follow up to ensure the key was provided to the correct customer. Very poor tracking purposes! I was told the individual would re-key the box on that day (Wednesday) so I stopped in Thursday to see if it was complete. I was informed it wouldn’t be done until Friday…normal day for re-keying. I would have hoped since they screwed it up, they would try to expedite since I have no idea who has access to my business mail box. Although I don’t expect much from the USPS, this support and customer service is absolutely horrible!! UPDATE: About 15 mins after submitting a complaint to the USPS feedback site, I received an email that said my situation (I.e. mailbox re-key) would be completed that day. I was able to get the new key for my business mailbox later that day. Although I appreciate the gentlemen completing the task outside his normal schedule, under the circumstances, it shouldn’t have taken filing a complaint to resolve the issue. However, the effort was much appreciated!

I have been living in the zone for this post office for 2 years & have never had more credit or debit cards go missing in my life! Every time I get a replacement card sent, I never get it. It’s happened at least 4-5 times! There’s no way that’s a coincidence. I’ve also had someone activate one of the cards. So glad I’m moving & don’t have to deal with this any longer!

A package that I desperately wanted today was not able to be delivered to my house. I went to this location not expecting much, just that I might get it tomorrow. However, Reggie was so kind and helped to track it down AND found it for me. It was like magic, thank you so much!
