I will be reporting this post office to the Inspector General but from the looks of the prev reviews, I can see I am not the only one. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had since moving out this way. I literally watched a local carrier back over my fence. Mind you, my mailbox is across the street. She pulled into my yard (my package says to leave at gate) up to my house then as she is backing out, instead of going to open the fence more for the truck to fit, she backs right over it. I’ve been calling and calling and unable to reach anyone at the local office until submitting two tickets. Then I received a call to send photos of what happened, did that and did not receive response for weeks! Submitted another ticket and just received a call about three days ago now. The lady tells me they cannot accept pictures as evidence and the only way they would cover is if the driver admitted she did it. My camera went down that day so the cottage was not saved but in the pic, you can see her running over the fence. They claimed they asked her but I believe it was never investigated and the driver flat out LIED and said she didn’t. I literally remember her face and every detail about that day, including what she was wearing, as I watched the entire thing out my kitchen window. When she realized she hit the fence she shouted ‘OH SHHh’ then just pulled right on and sped out. We rent where we are and have not had an issue since being here until this bull. Smh! This is ridiculous and they need to be held accountable. They also make crazy U-turns in people’s yard/driveways out here and kids are at play! They need cameras on those delivery trucks! Amazon, UPS, and FedEx does, why not USPS? This is ridiculous and now we’re told to pay for the damages ourselves. I will be going over their heads to file a complaint!! Y’all make sure yall have cameras and they’re working when USPS delivers cause they do not care at all!!

Impossible to get in touch with any human, huge waste of time and a great example of government workers not doing their jobs.

February 11th 2026 first of all this post office does not ever answer the phone. I had a delivery scheduled for Monday the 9th and it came but my doorbell didn't work so why didn't he knock on my door? My dog would have definitely barked and I could have answered my door and be done with it so I got online and scheduled for the 10th and got a confirmation number for my reschedule the 10th game and went no delivery call the wonderful automated system and was told this package is not available for redelivery then why wasn't I told that when I got a confirmation number. So I come up here the next day and had to wait in line but had to leave due to a prior appointment. I came back at 12:10 closed for lunch didn't see the rest of it and thought it would be open at 1:00 but no it opens back up at 1:30 doesn't say anything on the Hephzibah website for the post office that it's closed from 12:00 to 1:30 for lunch. This is my third time back here today. What in the world happened to customer service

I’m reporting the Hephzibah PostOffice to the Postmaster General. The USPS Ground Advantage gave my package to the wrong address; the driver handed it to a resident at the address. He DID NOT verify the address, the driver DID NOT verify that the person to whom the package was addressed lived at the residence. The people to whom the driver gave my package to were not honest enough to bring me the package. Before taking this step I called the post office. No one answered. I called using three different telephone numbers that were advertised. I let the phone ring until it clicked off. I did my due diligence. I also have three packages being “held” at the post office. I do not own a car so I can’t just drive down there to pick them up. The USPS Ground Advantage driver gives conflicting reason about why he/she won’t deliver my packages. One said to Amazon is that an access code is needed. The is absolutely nothing on my property that needs an access code. The second reason the USPS is that there is no secure area. Excuse me! I have a front door just like everyone else. If my front door is not secure then why is that other people’s front IS secure.

My carrier is great, so great that I hate it when subs are on our route because they are not so great. My complaint and question is, why close for an hour and a half at lunch and not the standard hour? I am assuming that they are combining the two 15 min work day breaks into lunch, but I bet they still take those breaks! I worked for the federal government 30 years and have seen people get over time and time again. It is very inconvenient for it to close longer than an hour and honestly it is inconvenient to close up at all since others who have jobs try to run there on thier lunch breaks to take care of thier postal needs. Honestly the USPS has gone down hill over recent years and much of it is poor customer service.
