Over $200 worth of items in packages have been ruined just this week because our delivery driver likes to just throw them on the ground next to the mailbox, even though our mailbox isn’t close to our house. Filing a complaint does nothing. I’m sick of the BS every single time we order something online.

I can understand being understaffed and not being able to make deliveries, but when you go in to try and inquire about your mail and packages, you are met with attitude and rudeness. We don’t get mail for days at a time and then I have to deal with the supervisor at the post office who can’t even answer my questions. She confused me so much more when I inquired about holding packages for a residence that is currently empty awaiting a renter. I don’t even know what I’m supposed to do regarding mail going there. It’s sad because we had such an amazing mail carrier who we could count on, but he’s gone now and I have a good guess as to why. They treat their customers awful, so I can’t imagine the way the employees are treated!

It is typically redelivered within a few days, which is fine but it happens very frequently and is extremely inconvenient. Many packages have been “out for delivery” and have yet to be delivered. Including packages that were to be delivered a week ago. I understand that it may not be the fault of the carriers and they are doing their best. However, the management at this facility has obviously taken a nosedive within the last couple of months. Based on other reviews, customer service has been less than receptive, which is highly disappointing. Accommodation and communication should be top priority for Harlem GA USPS but it is clearly not.
