This facility needs a facelift. Hamilton has grown and so should the facility. They did have a couple ladies through the years that would give you a hand... Bored country housewives I tell ya.
- COCindy OphusDec 2, 20235.0I love the people at this post office which is why I give 5 stars. Sadly, the delivery drivers are what the bad reviews are mostly about. Our regular delivery person is wonderful. The substitute guy doesn’t like to bring packages to the door and does everything he can to try to make things fit into the mailbox. If we ever have a problem, the postmaster takes care of it right away. Our previous post office, if the mail person didn’t want to deliver it, it went back to the sender and there was no talking to the post master.

I don’t know what customer asked for it to be held, but it wasn’t me. We live off Lick Skillet Rd which is Fortson, no idea why Hamilton delivers our mail. It seems like our subdivision is not a priority and if no delivery person no mail.

If my spouse or myself are home, the dogs are inside. The carrier would not know this unless they start up the driveway. If the dogs are out, fine, don’t deliver the package, but at least make the effort.
