- ARAriana ReedJun 11, 20241.0We have a new delivery person who is on a new route. Not only did we not get our mail when it says but we had a $1000 piece of mail that is missing that they say was delivered. We will be making claims as this is unacceptable.
- JWJoni WauhopApr 28, 20231.0I hate to leave such a negative review for a small town post office because the people are so friendly and kind here. HOWEVER, in the six months that I have lived in Hahira I have way too packages and letters go missing. A box I mailed to Virginia at Christmas got “lost” even though the tracking # had it sitting at Hahira post office for over a week. Eventually it ended up in my house mailbox with no explanation. (They remained it and it was fine- although very late.) 1 envelope mailed from Virginia, with gift cards, never made it to me recently. 2 birthday cards that I personally mailed to 2 different people in 2 different states did not arrive to either one of them. Of course they also had bday $ and gift cards in them. So in less than 6 months I’ve had a package and 3 envelopes disappear. I placed the envelopes myself in the blue bin right outside Hahira post office. Bottom line- if you have something important to mail don’t do it here! Also I hope this review gets to the right person, because I’m not the only one having personal mail go missing from THIS post office- it needs to be investigated.
