I had a very disappointing experience at this post office. I arrived a few minutes before closing and was respectful of their time, but the employee who assisted me a woman with blonde curly hair and glasses was extremely rude and unprofessional. While she was helping another customer, I was quickly filling out my paperwork, and she reminded me multiple times that they were closing, even though I was clearly trying to hurry.
When it was finally my turn, she saw that I needed to send certified mail and told me, in a very dismissive tone, that it would take “10 to 15 minutes to fill out” and that they didn’t have time to help me. Instead of offering guidance or patience, she refused to assist me altogether.
It’s very disappointing to be treated that way — you never know what someone is going through, and a little kindness goes a long way. I understand everyone wants to go home at the end of the day, but that doesn’t excuse being rude to customers who are following the rules and just need a little help. This kind of attitude is not what good customer service looks like. I truly hope management addresses this behavior and ensures that staff treat people with respect, regardless of the time of day.
