Maybe it’s just me, or maybe I somehow annoyed her, but the lady really made me feel bad. I had an early-morning appointment, and since it was my first time applying for a passport, I was really excited. I won’t go into too many details, but I’m sorry if because it was my first time, I needed extra help going through the process. Before me, there were other people whose English wasn’t very good, and she was mean and grumpy to them as well. I felt bad for them, and I don’t know if that’s the reason she treated us that way. Anyway, I ended up not submitting my passport application there. I walked out and went to another place that didn’t require an appointment, and they were incredibly nice and patient. I was missing some documents, but they informed me that I could simply use their printer. I also didn’t know I had to pay by check or money order, so I had to rush to the bank and come back — they explained everything step by step and were very helpful. I finally completed my application. So honestly, if your English isn’t strong, I wouldn’t recommend coming here. I don’t want anyone to feel bad just because their English isn’t fluent or because it’s their first time applying for a passport and they might make mistakes. Why do we even need to make an appointment just to be treated like trash? 😓
