The constantly lose packages and then sending them out of state when they should've stayed in Georgia 3 of mine now have been sent to different states. They LOST one of them, extremely lazy and unprofessional its unacceptable. Hire people who are willing to do the job correctly. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN

Fairburn USPS is absolutely ridiculous.. I'm not one to tell people how to do their job but geezus this place has something seriously wrong with it. Idk if its an employee problem or an infrastructure issue. Maybe a combination. These people must not know how to read and clearly dont care about other people's mail/packages. Wish UPS and FedEx would put the Federal Govt USPS out of business. At least this place. I wouldn't trust Fairburn USPS to make a Mc.Double cheeseburger. Certainly dont trust them with my packages. Their warehouse must be overloaded with packages given how long they sit there before they finally move. When they do they'll end up in FL before going back to Fairburn, Ga. Dreadful experience. Makes online shopping awful. This place in particular gives USPS employees a BAD look. Please teach your employees how to read and require a quota on packages being sent out. If they cant meet basic criteria then FIRE THEM

Employee is beyond unprofessional, beyond slow and so rude. Wasted my time and many others , most of us ended up leaving. System kept shutting down while i tried to pay and for some reason kept rejecting my physical card and phone through apple wallet. She called someone for help but instead of waiting she ripped off the stamps off my letters ruining the envelopes. If there is an issue with payment system should've told me and had me pay first then proceed to putting on stamps.

The other reviews are not lying about packages sitting there and not moving. I have never had this happen. My packages usually go to Atlanta distribution before they come to the usps closest to me and they are always fast. This is the first time ive had something go to fairburn and just sit there for days with no movement. I get it’s the holiday season but these things are gifts!! It’s been there for DAYS without going anywhere or getting scanned when im pretty sure the next stop would be my closest usps.

This facility is unbelievable and not in the good way, on several occasions over the years (yeah this happens here often for some reason) I’ve watched my packages sit at this facility and be scanned over and over for literally a week and go nowhere, or it sits there for days and gets sent to a completely different state before anyone catches it and delays my packages for over a week then they show up beat to crap with stuff falling out by the time they arrive and honestly if I have a package go through here I add a week to the arrival date and it seems to line up pretty spot on, at least I know what to expect when my stuff has to go through this place I guess, “it’ll show up someday, eventually, in one piece, maybe?” 🤔 this place needs help, seriously… edit: and just as I finished writing they sent another package of mine coming from Ca. to a different state 4hrs away, and I live maybe 1hr from this facility 🤯 what is the deal??
