I arrived at the UPS store at 1:30 today, which is the listed time that they close. There were 5-6 people in line to be helped still and when an employee came to the door to let a customer out, I asked her if I was too late to process an Amazon return. I did not see her name tag. The employee, who was a red headed female, told me yes that I could not be helped or even be let into the store. She was very rude to me. I told her that I drove 30 minutes to make this return because they were the closest UPS store to where I live. She proceeded to rudely tell me that I could not be helped, even though there was a lobby full of people still needing helped. Of note, it was now only 1:31. I will have to go back to this store because it is where my Amazon return is set up for, but I will likely not return after this next transaction with them. If the lobby was empty, I would understand but since it was full I don’t see why I couldn’t also be helped. All they had to do was scan my QR code and my item being returned. When I asked her if there was a manager I could talk to , she proceeded to tell me that I could leave a google review. So here it is, my 1 star rating and google review about the poor customer service and rude employee that I encountered today.

I am waiting at the UPS store as we speak. They advertise a notary and staff reluctantly walked back to notify the notary. I stood up at the desk to the side (still standing) and waited and waited . I asked the staff how much longer and they shrugged and said they didn’t know. They said they weren’t sure what they were doing and for how long. The notary finally came out. When I asked who the franchise owner was she said she was. Then, said her name was Megan. She, the owner, let a customer (who has been here many times before) stand there for half an hr. When she comes out, she didn’t say thanks for waiting. She barks orders “I need your ID.” The blond in the pic is Meagan (no last name) the franchise owner. If you have a lot of time to kill and want to feel worse about yourself, then come here. Otherwise, I’d steer clear.

I had a genuinely terrible experience at this UPS Store, specifically with the younger female employee. I drove almost two hours for a scheduled fingerprinting appointment required for the state of Ohio, and the visit was a complete waste of time. The machine repeatedly failed to process my photo and kept giving an error message. Instead of trying to troubleshoot or offer any real assistance, the employee shrugged it off and told me, “It’s a third-party machine, there’s nothing I can do.” I was shocked at the lack of effort and customer service, especially given how far I traveled and the importance of the appointment. Please note, this is the only location less than 2 hours of me to get this done for Ohio. No alternatives were offered, no attempt to help, and no concern for the inconvenience caused. Extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend relying on this location for fingerprinting or anything that requires actual customer support. Do better, you work in customer service, please provide it.
