  I came here today after visiting this store yesterday on my lunch break and witnessing what would have left me mortified. There was a couple that was refusing to pay a box charge for an Amazon return. They claimed that their confirmation from Amazon was that this UPS store boxed and labeled their return for them and even showed them their phone with the Amazon confirmation. The first younger lady that helped them walked away for no reason at all. They were not mean or rude to her. They are then approached by the store manager who instead of diffusing the situation and conducting business, proceeds to berate them and escalate the situation. So why am I leaving this review? I have been here dozens of times over the years and have easily paid at least $100 in box fees. Curiosity got to me so I contacted Amazon this morning and it was confirmed that if Amazon sets up the return where the UPS store boxes and labels, there are no additional charges to the customer. Which means that this store location has ripped me off all these years because I was none the wiser. This couple were normal people (not riff raff) who clearly got frustrated with the service being received. Heck, we were all frustrated standing behind them waiting to drop our own stuff off but this manager practically incited a mob against this couple. They left without saying another word but this manager continued to berate them out the door and talk about them after they left. As a bystander witnessing this and knowing that this same manager has on numerous occasions been rude to me (even at the unmanned Amazon kiosk, she's gotten nasty with me), I could not help but feel like this manager has absolutely no respect for her customers. She really has no business being a manager if this is the way she treats people and supports her employees walking away because they are not properly trained. After witnessing all this, I left the store and went to another location closer to my home on the way home. I am glad someone finally stood up to this lady. I would not have had the courage to do so but am happy that people are still out there that can and do. No one should go to a place of business and be treated as poorly as they are treated here.

  For the last 2 years I held my cool at this location. During Covid, I gave them a pass but this is the last time I will step foot in this door nor give them any business. The rude attitude expressed by others here is exactly the problem. They HATE amazon returns and will give any customer with an Amazon return a hard time. Today we went in to drop off some amazon returns. They box and they label. They tried again to extort a fee claiming that they cannot accept as is. They have attempted these extortion fees multiple times in the past. When trying to explain to the lady that's how Amazon created it, she threw up her hands, almost broke into tears and stormed off. We were then approached by a lady manager/owner/whatever (yes, I know what your name and role is) to be told not to speak to her employee like that. Speak like what? The truth. There was no raised voices, no inappropriate language on our part. So this new conversation goes nowhere and I ask her to scan our other pre-labled items so we can leave for which she showed her true incompetence. She says she has nothing to scan. I forcefully flipped the box upside down for her to see the label and she literally tells me not to throw boxes at her. Get a life lady. I dont need two emotionally challenge people who are completely wrong to get an attitude with me. Your employee raised her voice to my wife when I stepped in and then not being able to handle the push back, storms off. You telling me that you are UPS Store and not UPS is sure closer to UPS and Amazon than I am. I didnt sign a contract with UPS or Amazon. Attempted extortion and a denial is not a way to run a business. Blurting out nonsense and making claims that did not happen is equally disturbing. Go back and watch your own security footage. Maybe you can learn something from it. Furthermore, how dare you agitate the remaining customers in your store when one of these guys calls me the clown when he walks in half way through our interaction. You literally almost single handily escalated a situation when I was walking out the door to something far darker than it had to be. You asked me to leave. I was leaving when you had to open your big mouth again. We left your store and promptly went over to the Birmingham location WHO HAD ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM taking the packages as is. We even got the refund from Amazon already. So, you were wrong. And you are a cheat. And for your attitude, I am now going to make it a habit to trash this location everywhere I possibly can. It does not end here. I have already made the appropriate notifications to Amazon and UPS corporate. A few more cut and pastes of this review and then maybe I will stop. But not until it hurts your business.

  This store has very friendly and helpful associates. They make returns easy and fast AND now there is an easy self checkout way to do Amazon returns (to skip the lines!)!
