I'd changed my address a week ago and got a letter saying I needed to bring that in and go in for additional identity verification, so I did that today. Got there at 11:20, didn't realize they opened at 11:30 (my fault; I should've checked first) no problem, I'll just wait. 11:30 comes and goes, the service window is still shut tight. No one is in the office. I call the number here, jump through half a dozen automated responses to get someone on the line (who was very polite and did her job well, but couldn't help me in my specific situation and could only put a complaint in about no one opening. But, thank you anyway) I'm trying to answer the survey questions on the phone and for some reason it's not working, but then the guy waltzes in at 11:49. And promptly tells me he can't help me because that specific post office doesn't have the equipment to scan the barcode that THEY sent me. I'm sorry, I'll still always use usps over fedex or ups for shipping, but this was awful. 0/5. ☹️

A post office you can get in and out and polite employee. They could fix pot holes in parking lot though.
