Went into mail a few packages and ask about a lost package and the head teller, Robert, is in the back while poor Michelle is at the front desk by herself with a line of 15-20 people waiting to be helped. I proceed to ask Robert, after he finally surfaces from the back area, if he can help me with my lost package and he instructs me to call a 1-800 number or go online which I told him does not work and that I am friends with a post master from my hometown post office who would make a quick phone call for me when I had troubles like these. He then shouted at me “We don’t have those capabilities, it’s the age of the internet, go online and select missing package,” with the nastiest attitude I have ever experienced while asking simply for help. I asked why he was being rude when I was only asking a simple question which he responds with “I am not being rude I am just not being compliant” which feels like the wrong use of the word. I have never in my 12+ years of using the mail have ever had the displeasure of experiencing such unprofessionalism, dismissiveness, and inability to problem solve when it is literally what you are paid to do as the head teller. This guy should not be working at USPS, he should not even work anywhere that involves customer interaction because it seems to be too much for him to handle. I will never be returning to this post office and will choose to drive miles out of my way to another one if it means never having to interact with Robert again. To Robert, I hope you have the day you deserve.

The only reason I’m giving this post office 5 stars is because of S. Clark! She deserves more than 5 stars. Thanks to her superior customer service. I came in to ship a package and she immediately attended to me professionally and respectfully. The other woman working there met me with an awful attitude as if I was a bother and proceeded to assist another woman instead of me insisting that I had to purchase tape (which I didn’t) to ship my priority package. This review is to show you the different between appreciated and professional customer service vs. hiring the wrong people.

I’ve come here hundreds of times and never had any problems. This location is one of the only USPS’s in the area that is open till 5 pm on Saturdays. They’ve got the self-serve kiosk, and everything you might need from a USPS. Located in a great and convenient area.
