I visited this location to get assistance because a delivery driver wrongfully stopped mail from being delivered to my address. I had to wait for over an hour for the employee (Since they appear short-staffed) to return. By the time the employee returned, there had already been a line that had accumulated all the way outside the post office. She unlocked both doors and didn't even offer to open for us as I was first in line. I understand, that she may have been overwhelmed, as it was a long line behind me and she was the only staff member working, but she brushed me off and gave me the customer service number.

Before visiting the United States Postal Service location in East Point, GA, I’ll admit I was a bit hesitant. I had read several negative reviews mentioning poor customer service and overcharging, so I went in expecting the worst. Thankfully, my experience was the complete opposite.
From the moment I stepped up to the counter, USPS employee T. Jones completely changed my perception of this location. She was extremely pleasant, professional, and efficient, even while handling a steady flow of customers. What stood out the most was her ability to remain calm, patient, and genuinely helpful no matter the situation in front of her.
T. Jones was not only quick but also a truthful and knowledgeable problem-solver. She took the time to clearly explain options, answer questions honestly, and ensure each customer was taken care of properly without rushing or showing frustration. It was clear she takes pride in her work and understands how much good customer service matters, especially in a fast-paced environment like the post office.
Thanks to her, my visit was smooth, stress-free, and efficient. Experiences like this deserve recognition, especially when employees go above and beyond despite the negative reputation that sometimes surrounds their workplace.
If you’re on the fence about visiting the East Point USPS location, I highly recommend giving it a chance and if you’re lucky enough to be helped by T. Jones, you’re in excellent hands. She is a true asset to the United States Postal Service and a great example of what customer service should look like.

Rude woman there, my mom and grandma needed help filling some paperwork. They don't speak English well and she had an attitude the whole time. Hope she gets fired.
