I had such an exceptional experience at the The UPS Store Ashford Dunwoody and felt compelled to share.
I arrived right at closing time after a very long day of work, needing to get two important packages out for our school. At the very end of what had been a long day for all involved, the Manager and Marie were so kind, courteous, professional, efficient and genuinely wonderful. They welcomed me in without hesitation and went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled with care.
That level of service—especially at the close of a long day—speaks volumes. Their warmth, generosity, and commitment to helping others truly stood out.
I am incredibly grateful and will absolutely be making this my go-to UPS location from now on.

I’ve been using this UPS Store location for about five years, mainly for Amazon returns because it’s convenient and close to me. Overall, the service is usually friendly, quick, and professional.
Most of my visits are simple QR code drop-offs, and I always make sure my packages are properly prepared, securely taped and free of old labels. However, there is one elderly employee, I believe her name is Nancy, whose customer service has been consistently rude. I’ve gotten to the point where I dread visits when I see her approaching the counter, hoping I didn’t do anything “wrong” with my package that might trigger a negative interaction.
Today, I was returning an item on behalf of my elderly father. The item was already in its original box, which I had simply retaped. She told me the QR code specified “no box/no label” and proceeded to open the package in an aggressive manner, despite my attempt to explain. As she tore into the box, she stated there wasn’t enough room in the delivery truck for unnecessary packaging since everything is going to the same place. The interaction felt uncomfortable, especially given the lack of privacy.
After printing the label, she insisted that I take the box back with me, explaining that they have shared dumpsters and no room to dispose of it.
I understand that everyone has off days, but my experiences with this employee have been consistently unpleasant. While the store itself is convenient and generally efficient, interactions like these make me consider taking my business elsewhere.

Very kind, courteous, and efficient staff. The store was recently renovated, and very clean. This store always has enough staff where there is almost no wait time
I'm disappointed. I was on the phone with the lady today for about 30 seconds, and she said, look, I've got several people ahead of you, so......
I don't have a problem with that if she was polite about it and not venomous. She could have simply asked me to go on hold instead of lashing out at me. I hope she has a better rest of her day. I'll be going to the other UPS store in Dunwoody from now on. The other store in Dunwoody next to Kroger's is at 2472 Jett Ferry Rd #400, Dunwoody, GA 30338 I've always had great service there, no attitude. A little farther away, but obviously worth it now.
I’m extremely disappointed with this UPS Store and its management.
I paid for Next Day Air shipping, yet after a week and a half, no one from the store contacted me with any update. I only learned that my package was lost because I reached out myself. At no point did the store proactively notify me or provide clear communication about what was happening.
What made the experience worse was the manager’s attitude. Rather than being understanding, they sounded annoyed by my frustration, even though my concerns were valid given the situation and the importance of the shipment.
After paying for expedited service, being left without updates and then told to submit a claim only after following up myself felt unprofessional and poorly handled. This experience showed a lack of urgency, ownership, and customer care.
I expected far better communication and professionalism, especially when customers pay extra for guaranteed delivery services.
