When I first contacted this FedEx location, they asked me when I needed the poster. I said, “Of course, as soon as possible.” They told me I would still need to wait, and I said that was completely fine. At no point did anyone mention a rush fee, a priority fee, or even clearly explain the final price. I was simply told that they would call me when it was ready, so I left to go eat and waited for their call. After the poster was printed, I was happy with how it turned out, and I even recommended this location to my friend. However, my friend later printed the exact same size poster at Staples, near closing time, for only about $40. I was charged over $100 for one 36×48 poster here, including an additional $17 priority fee that was never disclosed in advance. The biggest problem is not just that the price was high, but that the extra charge was never explained beforehand. Saying “as soon as possible” is not the same as agreeing to an undisclosed priority fee, especially when I was also told I would need to wait anyway. I waited around 3 hours, left the store, and came back later. That does not feel like transparent pricing. Because of this experience, I would not use FedEx for poster printing again, and I would not recommend it to others.
