The lady working closed about 5 minutes early and refused to let me purchase tape as “I already locked up” All I needed was tape as both my packages were drop offs and I even explained this was the second post office I stopped by and she still refused to let me buy tape when they were still open. She also took a 1.5 hour lunch break at 2pm? I only go here when my post office is closed but this was such a bad experience :(

On January 3rd, 2026 at approximately 11:00 AM, I had an interaction with a clerk at the Sandy Springs USPS location that was extremely unprofessional. The employee was dismissive, showed no empathy, and offered no support while assisting me. The attitude communicated that she was not prepared or willing to do her job at that time. I want to be clear that this feedback is not about race. I am Black, and this complaint is strictly about conduct and customer service. This employee’s behavior does not reflect acceptable customer service standards, and it should be addressed.

Yes, this is like a community post office so yes, it may be slow. It may be small but one thing I would tell you they give the best customer service his hands down all the time. Let me tell you I lived on the southside and I lived on the northside and I would wait Until I’m on the north side and go to only this post office to work with only these people because they are the best they give the best customer service so between this one and the one at the airport all the other post office is a no this one is the best and the next is the one at the airport and that’s ItSorry I’ve been almost every post office that you could think of in Atlanta and only those two are the best so if you gotta wait, you’re just gonna have to wait sorry.

place has been closed around 2 hours early most times I’ve gone. at least adjust your hours on the door if you leave at 4 instead of 6… also the mail chute doesn’t work, so if you come late with anything bigger than a letter you’re out of luck.
