I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by my experience at this USPS location today around 4:00 PM. While customers were still inside and seeking assistance, the employee on duty walked out to his car and sat there instead of serving people. When we approached him and politely asked for help with mailing our items during posted business hours, he refused to assist us. What was even more shocking was his behavior — he began yelling at us and used inappropriate and unprofessional language. No customer should ever be spoken to that way, especially by a federal employee in a public service role. This was not just poor customer service — it was outright disrespectful and unacceptable conduct. USPS employees are representatives of a federal institution and are expected to uphold basic standards of professionalism and accountability. I strongly urge management to review security footage, investigate this incident, and take appropriate action. Customers deserve to be treated with respect.

arrived Friday afternoon at 4:20, the bald middle aged staff just walked outside to his car while I’m in the lane. I walked outside to ask him when he’ll be back and he responded rudely, and never came back. Extremely unpleasant experience:( Go to the USPS at briarcliff. Never come here!!!!

Came in today (12/03, around noon) to send something out. The person who would be working arrived at about the same time to open. On this visit, it was the first time I had used the boxes and was struggling with the tape strips. When I managed to get it done, I went up to the person working and he made a snarky comment about how I was struggling with it and was shaking his head and acting condescending. I didn't say anything back. I was in an out after a period of 10 minutes and left there in a bad mood. I don't know if he was stressed about something else but don't make fun of someone who is struggling with something, you're actively dissuading them from using the service. Also there was no line at some point for a good few minutes and he could have offered to help instead of watching so that he could point it out and using his time to be rude about it. The comment happened around 12:10 - 12:13ish, then finished up there and I left after. I'll probably go to a different post office if I need to send something out from now on. Someone less openly rude and judgmental should probably be working that position.
