However, you never know when they’re going to take their lunch break. There are days where I’ve showed up at noon and that sign is on the door. I showed up today at one and the sign was on the door even though the door says that their lunch is from 1:30 to 2:30. Currently, it is 1:08 PM and the door is locked. I don’t understand how they can run a post office this way. At first, I thought it was a single person working there alone, it’s not! There are multiple people who work in this office. I understand that they have been budget cuts, and all of those things, however, if the door says that lunch is from 1:30 to 2:30 there is no reason I should show up at noon to assign on the door. I’ve even left and came back at 2 o’clock or 230 and the door is still locked. I don’t know what kind of job allows you a 2 to 3 hour lunch break, but it must be nice!

I went and ate my own lunch, ran an errand, returned at 1:50 pm. Same sign. No employees in sight. Unprofessional - who doesn’t put a “returning at such and such time” on their sign. Just disband USPS at this point. . .
