- UUUniqueOct 18, 20241.0Here's an update from a previous review I made on October 3rd ,2024 about my experience with this agency. In a response to my review the owner Mel stated that I would be compensated today October 18th for a job assignment completed on September 7, 2024. and the invoice approved on September 18, 2024. As mentioned in my previous review my access to review the status of my compensation was de-activated. So I sent an email to Mel requesting an update because I had not received payment. Today I received an email response apparently that was created after I submitted my review on October 3rd , which I was not aware of until today October 18, 2024. informing me that my contract was being terminated by the agency and due to poor job performance my pay was being reduced from $ 26.00 to $10.00 hr.. Here is where the plot thickens. I was never informed of performing poorly or ever having any issues. Until after October 3rd, 2024 when the review was made. On September 18th, 2024 I received a copy of my approved invoice for the hours worked as well as a text from Mel agreeing to the pay rate of $26.00/hour. According to Mel, the lead for the event stated that I was an issue from the beginning. However, not once was I notified of these accusations. Until after the review was made October 3. 2024. It is apparently clear that the reducing my pay is a direct retaliation for writing the review .Today I received a cease and desist to not have any further communication with the agency and instead of receiving my pay direct deposit as originally agreed it would be mailed to me via certified mail. Hopefully my compensation is based on the approved invoice dated September 18, 2024 and the agreed upon amount as stated in the text message also dated September 18, 2024. This was a complete nightmare :( and my personal experience)
