Outstanding support from Morris! He exhibited leadership qualities that I often look for, but don’t find. He is knowledgeable and was attentive to all customers and was humble doing it. He is definitely an asset to Staples.

I had a nasty interaction with a black female employee. I walked to the back of the store after making my purchase to used the restroom and when I got there I realized the door was locked and needed a code for access. Instead of walking all the way back to the front to ask for the code I walked through an open door straight to the back to see if an employee back there could give me the code. I walked back and looked to the left and there was a black female employee who had on a hat, I asked her for the code to the bathroom and she just stared at me with an attitude. Another employee came from the back and said I’ll help you. He opened the door to let me in. As he open the door the black female employee who was wearing the hat on 1/27/26 at about 3:20pm got up and said something about the open door having a sign on it. She walked to the door looked at the sign with an attitude and walked back into the room she was sitting in. She was extremely passive aggressive and if I was not as emotionally intelligent as I am I would have handled her a different way. That type of behavior needs to be checked and corrected. If no one besides employees are to enter that door, then close the door. Nobody is going to walk all the way back to the front of the store for a bathroom code when there is someone near who could assist. I know life is hard but miserable black girl in the hat relax and try to finish your shift with a smile. And just in case ya’ll think this is racism…I’m black.

Wanted three sheets of labels printed. Alexis wouldn’t allow me to print labels on their printers by myself and told me the print time was 2 days even though the job would have taken <5 min. I offered to pay for an expedited job and was refused.
