  Terrence, the general manager needs customer service training. I was told by an employee they are short staffed , and I see why. They probably have a high turnover rate because of the manager of the store. I came in one day to get headshots. He was condescending to two of the workers in the photo areas. He was not nice and told me to come back later for the design team to try and reprint my photo for me because the resolution was way darker then the actual photo. I didn’t mind coming back, but he was not friendly. When I go into a place of business i’m not trying to be anyone’s BFF. I don’t even expect small talk . I just want basic customer service and respect. I am a paying customer .if you're overwhelmed take a step back and ask why are we short staffed? Or take a break if you need to. I am talking about BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE . Not brushing me away and just telling me to come back later. Staples is the only place nearby that does headshots, so I came back a few days later and he was there again. (unfortunately) and says “ we don’t do headshots before 12” with a straight face; I replied “ since when?” Then he said “i’m just joking” I didn’t find it funny since the other day I came you weren't helpful and had a bad attitude. Which I told him. I ended up not getting my headshot printed in the resolution I needed after a SECOND trip . He finally tells me the background is too dark … it would have been nice if he told me that the first time I came instead of wasting my time, and acting like he was going to fix it . Don’t act like you know what you’re doing and don't . Real Customer service goes a long way. A smile goes a long way, & talk to your only 3 employees you have left like that in front of customers. It’s a bad look.

  Ordered a custom stamp and when I picked it up it hardly had any ink at all and was assembled poorly. The Xstamper quiX ink that the box states you *must use* for refills wasn’t carried at this location. An employee had an attitude and raised his voice when I asked for guidance finding a substitute.

  The supervisor Jamal and Lauren in the Print Department at Staples were amazing. Jamal was extremely busy helping multiple customers and multitasking, yet he still kept a million-dollar smile on his face the entire time. Lauren stepped in to help and together they made sure every customer was taken care of quickly and professionally. They answered all of my questions and concerns efficiently, and my prints came out fantastic. I was highly satisfied with the service I received. Their professionalism and teamwork truly represent what great customer service should look like, and I look forward to coming back to see them again.
