Cache the meanest young lady I have ever met at the post office. Unless I'm mailing priority she could not use extra tape to a box for me? Of course unless I want to mail it priority. Even the customer before me commented on her being unfriendly and mean and no smile. I see other reviews about her as well. Seeing a mean pattern. Maybe she needs to go to etiquette training

I arrived at Wildwood's USPS location this morning. Turns out I had a liquid item to ship; therefore, I could not send it in the Priority box... no biggie, just a box swap. I prepared the box and was waiting in line. 2 service workers were tending to customers. I could see a 3rd service worker was in the back on her phone leaning up against a counter. The line had grown to about 3-4 customers by then. I went to her once she came back to the front desk. While she was running the machine, I stopped to ask her if I would get a tracking number to which she replied "Yeah, once you pay" and proceeded to snicker. I asked her to repeat herself, to which replied again, "Yeah, once you pay" and snickered again. I replied that it was only a simple, yes/no question I asked. Ms Coushmay Cox did not have to be rude & smart off to me in that fashion. It was simple question that did not warrant that kind of answer. I know good help is hard to find but if this is what you're hiring, then I see why this PO doesn't get good ratings.

Absolutely horrible. This post office has only been delivering my mail for less then 3 months and somehow they've lost/messed up delivery on 6 or more of my packages.

⭐ If zero stars were an option, I would select it without hesitation. The Wildwood Post Office is, without question, the most poorly run postal facility I have ever encountered. The location itself is inadequate—cramped, outdated, and wholly unfit to serve the volume of customers who rely on it, particularly elderly residents. What is most troubling, however, is the conduct of the staff. On more than one occasion, I witnessed employees—specifically female clerks—speaking to customers, including elderly individuals, in a rude, dismissive, and openly hostile manner. At one point, an employee yelled at elderly patrons to “shut the door” while a line of customers stood waiting. This behavior was unprofessional, unnecessary, and frankly unacceptable in any public service environment. Operationally, the office is equally inept. We were required to return multiple times for a simple change-of-address request and asked to present identification repeatedly, despite already having complied. Even after doing everything requested, our mail has been mishandled repeatedly—sent back, misdirected, and intermixed with other people’s mail. We continue to receive mail that does not belong to us, while our own has failed to arrive on multiple occasions. Most concerning of all is that no one appears to listen or take responsibility. Complaints are ignored, issues persist, and there is no sense of accountability whatsoever. This post office reflects a complete failure of customer service, management, and basic respect for the public—especially the elderly population it is supposed to serve. I strongly caution anyone who has alternatives to avoid this location if at all possible.

The Villages Post Office provides consistently friendly and efficient service. The staff are helpful, patient, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is handled correctly. Even during busy times, the lines move quickly and the atmosphere remains welcoming. It’s clear they take pride in serving the community, and it really shows. A dependable and pleasant place to take care of all mailing needs.
