The employee behind the counter took the package, but did not provide a receipt and did not tell me that I needed to ask for one in order to have proof of drop-off. When I checked the tracking later, USPS showed no record of the package ever being received. I returned to PostNet to ask what happened. The same employee told me that PostNet is only a courtesy drop-off location for USPS and that the packages had already been picked up. When I asked for any documentation proving that I dropped off the package, she told me, “Did you ask for one?”which felt dismissive and unhelpful. Now USPS has no record of my package, and PostNet has no accountability, no tracking, and no proof that they ever transferred my package to USPS. If you plan to drop off USPS packages here, be aware: • They do not automatically provide receipts. • They do not scan your package. • If something goes wrong, you’re on your own. Very disappointing experience and I will not be using this location for USPS drop-offs again.
