    Unbelievably poorly managed. One checkout light on with no person around. I mean no one available. Long line right next to it is an Amazon only line. What idiocy. People all over but no one to take your money. People waiting and waiting. Pathetic

    Unprofessional & Unhelpful Manager. I made an Amazon return last week at staples and it never processed on my Amazon app. Before headed to Staples to resolve it I used Ai and read a thread on reddit how this often happens at staples. I didn't not have my return receipt because I was driving a rental vehicle the day I returned the item. According to reddit, folks said staples could still print another one for amazing purpose. I entered staples and a manager named Peter approached me. The moment I mentioned Amazon return he handed me a card and said I have to call Amazon. I tried to explain that the issue initiated at staples. He wasn't interested in hearing anything about my situation just kept referring to the card. Knowing what id read on reddit I explained others had this issue. He cut me off, said it was an AMAZON issue and to call them. He then said I had other vendors I could use for returns like UPS and whole foods. Not sure why that comment was relevant to my solution, but since he brought it up I explained that not all returns allow for the UPS store. Some are ONLY staples and that I wouldn't drive to whole foods because it's 12 miles from my house, compared to staples, that's 2. "Well you should use whole foods!". And with that, he walked off. This comment still was not at all relevant at all to solving my current lost return problem from their store. It felt like he didn't want to deal with anything re Amazon. But as a staples customer, I was left standing there with no help or solution from my store experience. Another employee approached me and she allowed me to explain my problem. She said that issue does happen at staples from time to time and she asked to scan my QR code for the item again. Normally, it would show "code already used" but mine scanned as if it new and started the return process. I'm not sure how their system can scan a QR code, print a sticker and produce a return receipt all while the code not processing the return?!! She said she'd never seen THAT happen before. She printed a transaction of that issue and asked I explain it to Amazon. Which I did and they refunded my card. Why couldn't the manager had done that?! He literally argued with me and was annoyed that people come there with amazon returns and said we should all go elsewhere. He was very rude and unhelpful in resolving the issue. What he should be doing is getting on the phone with Amazon to resolve the issue in their system. Not rudely blowing off customers. Giving 2 stars because the female blonde employee was very understanding, helpful and tried to get a resolution for me and in that process, realized theirs an issue with their system. She deserves a promotion and Peter needs some customer service training.
