I wrote on the box “this side up”, “fragile”, and “hand made with love”. The box was scanned as the last truck was leaving for the day. I walked out to my car and proceeded to watched the guy front desk hand it to the truck driver. Then they laughed at the notes to on the box, I guess didn’t like being “told what to do” with a box of extreme emotional sentiment, maliciously flip the box over to the opposite end as requested and then literally chuck the box into the truck. While her heart is in pieces, and mine breaks with her, I hope that attempt to feel powerful does not also shatter the attempt at sharing love at someone’s lowest point. I couldn’t believe my eyes as that precious cargo was very purposely handled with intent to destroy. Gutted by having to watch that. Truck number and license plate recorded for preventing this sort of thing in the future.

Most of the time for returning Amazon purchases and all, they are great. However… The Verizon store directed me to return my phone for a trade-in credit (citing that Verizon no longer takes care of that) through the UPS store. Well, I did get the return slip, but Verizon never received it. Unfortunately, I was left to pay the monthly payment instead of getting trade-in value because I lost the shipment confirmation so I could not provide to Verizon. My fiancé and I suspect that a certain store employee might have pocketed the phone.
