Worst experience you will have at a post office. Clean house.

I had a horrible experience at the post office. The cost of shipping for the buyer was under $10 and I have shipped items from eBay multiple times and have had ZERO issues. Lisa, the clerk wanted to mention that MULTIPLE items were over the weight limit and that I was going to be charged and then said never mind then continued to state one in particular we were going to get charged a higher price on and eBay will charge us the reminder. I stated that I wanted to know the price I was going to be charged as the shipping was covered by the buyer. She stated it was going to cost $85 to ship an item that barely cost $30. I stated I wanted my package back and I was not going to pay that amount to ship that package out. She REFUSED to give the package back and stated there was nothing she could do. Horrible service during a time where prices are increasing high and where people are having a hard time to afford items and then to say too bad and I have to be charged that ridiculous amount is insane. Then trying to file a complaint with the post office is almost impossible, multiple attempts were tried to get through to a live person with failed attempts. I’d leave zero stars if I could and again this employee name was Lisa.

The employees here are bitter, don't like to do anything beyond their job, no help, answer questions with a bad attitude. I was accused by Lisa of skipping in line when a customer allowed me to cut in front of them, because I had 1 package only and the other customer had many, so they were kind and let us go first. Lisa ignored my wife when we walked to the counter, and immediately asked the customer who allowed us to go ahead if we had skipped them, accusing us instead of simply asking us, like a professional should. Straight to accusing, so she can use her authority to remove us. Lisa has had a bad attitude every time I visit this post office, and she forces you to click the "smiley face" after every interaction, to make her look a little better. You wouldn't have to force people if you just did a decent job. I would not be surprised if she has had multiple complaints on her, she needs to be replaced with someone who is happy to work and serve their community. Lisa please stop being bitter, it's not your fault for whatever problems you may have in your life, we all have our own issues. Be professional, or find a new job where you don't deal with the public

You are all wasting your time complaining on here, I promise you they are being ignored for the most part. What everyone needs to understand is that the employees at the post office are union, and I suppose this could be argued as to why they might be a bad idea, because although they do help protect the employees, they also protect the bad ones. If you really want to have a chance of making a difference, the best option you have is to call the 800 number on here and file complaints. They have to investigate them and if they get enough even the union will have a hard time protecting them and this behavior and for those of them that have been there long enough, they are still getting a pension when they retire and I can guarantee you they don’t want to risk losing that.

On 11/18/2025 I went to this Post Office (which to MY BIG CURSE is the one that services my home address) to follow up on a lost package. I went there on 11/12/2025 & left my name, phone number & all the info. related to my lost package (Tracking #, sender's info., etc.) on a printed paper for them and they promised to look into it and call me. They did NONE! So, I went again today 11/18/2025. "SJT" rang the bell like 10 times calling the manager/"Rachel G" (nothing against "SJT"...she was busy & this was a "Manager's issue" anyways). After making me wait for 15 minutes "SJT" told me to leave my info. again, and I refused because I had already done that and the manager/"Rachel G" did NOTHING! After 10 more minutes waiting, "SJT" went to the manager's office, came back and told me the manager/"Rachel G" was NOT going to come out..."Too busy".... Are you going to tell me she can't come out for 5 minutes to care for a customer who is PHYSICALLY PRESENT AND WHO HAS WAITED FOR ALMOST HALF AN HOUR!!!??? Totally disrespectful, unkind & unprofessional. DO NOT USE THIS POST OFFICE IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO!!! I have my doubts about their delivery personnel also... I've had several packages "lost"...the USPS should look into this office's manager and delivery personnel.
