I declined and contacted Amazon and they said that is not the case that they should take the package. This location is scamming Amazon customers. If you take a return here, don't let them trick you into paying for things that you don't have to. I've logged a complaint with Amazon and they said they would investigate. I recommend people not go here as they are unethical.

As a resident in the Shearwater/South Hampton/Stillwater area, I thought I'd try this store in Rivertown. The service lady at the front desk told me I had to pay $2 to tape my return shut, which is not consistent with the Amazon instructions. I immediately called the other UPS store equidistant from my home, the one located East on 210 where Winn Dixie used to be, and they told me they do not charge for tape. I just dropped the package off from them - no tape fee. Amazon is paying UPS to handle these returns, and this store is trying to gouge customer an extra $2 for tape...poor business practice. I'll be using the one on 210 for now on. Located at 2220 County Rd 210 STE 108, Jacksonville, FL 32259.

However, when I arrived, the employee refused to accept my return because the box wasn’t taped. I explained that I selected the option where UPS is supposed to handle the boxing, taping, and labeling, but because I had placed the items in my own box, they wanted to charge $2 per box just to tape them. I then asked if I could remove the items from my box so they could pack them instead, and they declined. Amazon and UPS really need to get aligned on this process. I ended up having to take the boxes back home.
