I had handed a package over with a prepaid label she dropped the package from about 4-5 feet and I thought she had broken the contents. Thanfully after the recipient received the package they informed me it wasn't broken. If you have anything valuable or fragile to ship out I would avoid this location like it's ground zero of covid. Rude and inconsiderate staff. King St location and the us-1 location are much better.
- CKchristina klemkowskiJan 20, 20151.0Walked in 4:58 pm, with prepaid, labeled, ready to ship medium flat rate package, just needed to drop it off before they close at 5, and avoid an hour of downtown rush hour traffic as i live on the beach, and this Sea Grove post office is conveniently a mile away from my home. As I walked in the outer area, a woman (usps employee) popped out and locked the door behind her. Than proceeded to walk 3 feet to the employee door and walk in and locked it behind her. Before she was through I asked can i Just drop this off its ready to go? Obviously not, as she continued to exit the room, yelled something from behind the locked door, and just left me and an elderly man, also needing assistance, just standing there wondering "did that really just happen?" I suppose she could not have been bothered to keep her post and allow the door to stay unlocked until 5. Heaven forbid this oh so charming employee be bothered to actually help customers just trying to put something in the mail. Thanks United States Post Office! I'm truly shocked that you have been on the verge of bankruptcy for years, if you hire such dedicated and friendly people. PS the trip to the Downtown Post office did take over an hour.
