- ADashley dahring-risslerDec 13, 20255.0I came in yesterday to mail off at least 12 packages. all different sizes, package types, shipping to different states. I was a hot mess, taking up mass amounts of counter space, dropping things constantly. I was incredibly lucky that all three gentlemen at the counter were not only people who seemed to all genuinely kind people. While packaging one was kind enough to help me with a bunch of supplies that helped make my life easier. During this time I heard all three of them chit chat with their regulars, who they knew by name and clearly knew about their life. Which is something you don’t see often today. When I was done essentially using the building as my Santa factory, I was helped by a gentlemen who was incredibly kind, patient, and was super personable. At no point did he make me feel rushed or bad despite the amount of things I had presented before him. We chit chatted about what I was mailing off, handmade projects to friends and overall had a nice conversation. Why such a long review? Because, I cannot think of a more stressful time for the employees of USPS than December. Despite that, every single face there was kind and more importantly seemed genuine. Kindness. Smiles. Kind words. They’re all rare and it’s important to take a second to let people know you noticed that. I dunno if those three will see this, but I hope they do! Yall are killing it!
