Quanisha who is a mail lady is extremely rude and unprofessional. Not sure how she got hired. She is always on the phone with personal calls. Literally everytime I have seen her, she is blabbering on the phone.

They refused to ship the return is the same box it came in from USPS. The old sticker was still on it and could be easily placed over it. Slow work ethic too.

Clerk Barbra and Ana refused to give me 8 inch piece of regular scotch tape for a return. Really? Not only that which is understandable but very rude the way it was told.

I was told by the "lead" at this post office who failed to wear her name tag proudly and prominently to file a complaint so I did. I contacted the USPS third district internal affairs office, also a formal letter to the USPS postmaster general David Steiner as follows. “Hello David, I felt that there was no option other than to take this to the very top. I have driven down here from New Jersey to Pompano Beach Florida where I am looking for a real estate investment. I've had a PO Box in New Jersey for years now. I confirmed with my local post office before coming here that I could have a second post office box in Florida so I can have my mail transferred while I'm looking for real estate investment. My post office provided me with the forms. It says on the website and all over the internet that having an out-of-state PO box is perfectly allowed and the forms are available. I went to the post office at 1950 Northeast 6th Street in Pompano Beach Florida 33060 and asked the lady at the counter to just review my second form of identification before I go online and fill out the forms. The woman told me that I was not allowed to open a PO box in Florida because I don't have a Florida address, I explained to her that I got the forms online read about it on the website and confirmed it with my local post office that it is allowed, she told me that I was not allowed to do it and I would need to use a friend's address and have a notarized letter that I'm staying with them which is absurd! This woman demonstrated zero concern and was totally ignorant to the importance documents or anything else I may need to receive in the mail. I tried to help this woman understand that the rules are clear on the United States postal service website and she said NO! I told her I would like to speak with the postmaster. Her reply to me was quite rude " I'm the lead here and I'm telling you that you can't open the post office box and you can go online and file a complaint" Under no circumstances am I going to be turned away from this postal "lead" without making this conduct known. I filed a complaint over the phone. The lady on the phone agreed with me and was very understanding. She gave me the phone number for the direct district office which I'm contacting now. If you do a Google search for this post office and read the reviews you will find that the place has a horrible reputation for its conduct. Who is this woman because she claims to be some big “lead” thinking she has the right to make her own rules or deny me speaking to the postmaster?? I am going to make as much noise as I need to make but this woman should be terminated from her job immediately, she has absolutely no concern for the people who go in there totally unaware of what they need to receive through the mail. I would appreciate a reply so I know this is being addressed. I want my post office box and I need it now! Even after I get it this woman will be certain to make sure my packages are delayed, missing or damaged because she's going to know it was me who made this complaint. I am not going away! Further, her excuse for this treatment was that they get a lot of fraud! So she's categorizing me? All they had to do was confirm it with my post office. The fact that they get a lot of fraud is not my problem and does not supersede the rules set by the United States postal service. Thank you for your time in this matter Sincerely Lead complaintant. ........ Enjoy your complaint.
