The woman at the counter called Patel wouldn’t take my application for a new passport because I didn’t have my birth certificate with me. The website clearly said you need a birth certificate OR a valid US passport (can be expired) that was valid for more than 5 years for a person that was under 16. Had to get birth certificate and was late for walk in. Didn’t send it in.

Service had always been exceptional unless you show up and their doing someone's passport, they really need a second clerk to handle the window when this happens.

Nina Patel at the front desk was very helpful, friendly and patient with my brother and I as we filled out our passport forms. She answered all our questions and offered assistance when needed. While we filled out our paper work, she even helped the other guests as they waited in line. She's a pro! Hire more people like her :)

Neffy was the absolute rudest and most unprofessional USPS associate I’ve ever encountered. She’s abrasive, short and acted like we were a complete bother. I try to avoid this location at all costs and she’s part of the reason why. Skip Polk City, just drive to Lakeland where you won’t be treated like trash.
