Absolutely terrible experience. My husband and I showed up a few minutes before closing because of his school schedule. We went out of our way to print the return label at the USO since we don’t have a printer at home, just to make the process easier and quicker. We’re new to this base, so finding the post office was a bit of a challenge, but we still got there with about 10 minutes to spare. The woman working there — I think her name was Maribel — was unbelievably rude and unhelpful. At first, she flat-out refused to take the package, even though it had a valid USPS return label from the seller. When she finally agreed to accept it, she refused to give a receipt, claiming she had no way to weigh or measure it. That makes no sense, especially since the label was already paid for. All she had to do was scan it and input the dimensions — something every other USPS location has done without an issue. Instead, she told us to “just go off base” in a cocky, dismissive tone, which was completely unnecessary. This was supposed to be a simple drop-off, but instead, it turned into a frustrating waste of time. If this is how they treat people new to the area, no wonder USPS has such a bad reputation. Someone seriously needs to teach Maribel basic customer service skills & some manners.

Not sure if this is the main post office in Pensacola but I would like to address that if it is...it is THE WORST. If I have a package coming through Pensacola it just sits there & is ALWAYS at least a day late (if not more) going out of there. Very disappointed in the service in Pensacola.

Wish I could give 0 stars. But I had a package that was marked ready for pickup on Friday. I went in on Tuesday since they were closed the weekend and Memorial Day. The lady working the front desk was beyond rude and had an attitude for no reason. She told me that they will deliver the package to me yesterday. Said she didn’t want to look through the packages for mine. At the end of the day yesterday I got a notification from USPS my package was delayed a day. Even though she told me she scanned my package in on Friday and remembered it. She could have just given me my package but didn’t want to. Today Wednesday still no package but they delivered mail already. Let’s see if I get my package tomorrow or if they’ll just hold it and not let me pick it up since they don’t want to look for it. Horrible customer service Update: Now she says they don’t know where my package is...

Went to the Fedex on base and was told that because I want to ship overseas I needed to go to the Post Office.. So I go inside with the things I want to ship and there isn't a box the size I need so I get in line so that I can ask if they have one. The lady proceeds to raise her voice at me "I'm not paid to help you, go to FedEx" (mind you it isn't even my turn yet, there are people in front of me) I let her know FedEx sent me there.. She gets more annoyed and says "well I'm not paid to help you" and keeps repeating that as I say okay and walk out. Didn't ask me one time what I needed nor did she allow me to say much at all. Worst experience I've ever had mailing anything. RUDE staff. I'll just go to a civilian place in town.

I understand it’s not a busy post office, but their hours of operation are so strange, 10-3:30, but still closed for lunch at 1:15. No word of when they they will be back.
