- MMM Me3 days ago1.0The passport representative refused to assist us, refused to speak with us, and even closed the door in our faces. When I politely asked why she could not take us if there were no-shows, she became hostile and dismissive. During this interaction, we observed her allowing other walk-in individuals to complete their passport process without any issue. Her refusal to assist us appeared personal, arbitrary, and potentially discriminatory. I escalated the situation to the supervisor, Darek. I explained that I took time off work and that my wife is pregnant, and asked for his help. After he spoke with the employee, we overheard her saying clearly that she could have taken us but simply “didn’t want to” because we questioned why we couldn’t be seen during a no-show slot. She continued to raise her voice at the supervisor—loud enough for people outside the room to hear. This behavior is extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and inconsistent with the standards expected of USPS and the U.S. Department of State passport acceptance program. No customer should be treated with hostility or discrimination, and no employee should refuse service out of personal bias.

It quickly became apparent it wasn’t a post office mailing site, and I was late and needed to mail my niece’s birthday card. I couldn’t find anyone to ask where to go and then Eileen drove by. Eileen was so sweet, kind and helpful!! When I told her I needed to mail a letter but didn’t have a stamp she said, “ Just give it to me, I’ve got a stamp in the truck. How impressive, Eilleen!! Thank you for taking time out of your day to help me. That was so thoughtful of you, and I’m certain you must be an outstanding mail handler 😇🧡
