- WBW BDec 8, 20251.0Looked at chair from 1 Staples location. Chair had an electric component, but staff insisted they had no place to plug chair in nor did they have an extension cord that could reach chair. Mind you, chair had wheels and was portable AND the store sells electronics. And extension cords. Decided to take a chance. According to web site, chair was in stock. At checkout, chair WAS NOT in stock. But I could travel 15 miles to store that supposedly had it and could assemble it. Paid for chair & assembly. Was told the next store needed 2 hours. I gave them 24. When i got to store 15 miles away, they at least had the chair but said they didn't look at the order & didn't know to assemble. They refunded cost of assembly. If the best I can hope for is poor customer service, an unreliable inventory system, additional travel, and more bad service, I understand what keeps Amazon in business.

But when a customer says no thanks. dont keep going on and on about the benefits of it to convince them to sign up. If i say no thank you end it at that. Every single business has a rewards program or app to sign up with and not going to sign up for every single store there is.
