At first, I wasn't going to give a review because I'm in the process of job-hunting, but after giving some further thought to it, I feel the need to provide my honest feedback about my experience with this agency.
Jose is the recruiter helping me, and, in truth, my experience hasn't been the most professional. First off, the day that I spoke with him on the phone, to schedule my in-person meeting, I asked if he would be able to send me some kind of confirmation with the location's address, he assured me that he would text me the information after we got off of the call; well, I never did receive that text.
Next, he, specifically, told me to meet him at 2pm on Thursday, 2/7/24, instead of the original time at 1pm, because he was going to be out on some assignment and would be back to the office by 2pm. Well, I drive all the way to the office for my 2pm appointment, and he isn't there, just some lady. I let her know what he told me, and she called him to inform him that I was at the office. He tells her that he probably wouldn't be back to the office for another couple of hours; that said, he told her to let me know that our meeting would need to be rescheduled for the next day at 1pm.
I think the complete lack of prior communication and consideration in this situation speaks for itself. However, the only reason I got over this is because Jose did apologize, and the lady said she would've called me had she known about the meeting herself. Between this situation and the lie about him texting me the office address, this situation counts as strike two.
Moving on to finally meeting with Jose, I don't appreciate him telling me that he plans to change my resume information. First of all, he didn't ASK me if he could change anything; he told me he was going to do so. If he felt there were some things that need to be reformatted, why not ask me to do it myself? On top of that, if he's changing the actual resume information to something completely different, that's considered falsifying of information. He would be sending this information to companies, and I would have to lie if they asked me to explain the revised resume information. Really??
I'm sorry, but this is one too many negatives while dealing with him. I really didn't even appreciate him telling me to hand him my personal cell phone so that he could show me about the app. What happened to asking someone for their permission?
His level of professionalism just doesn't make me feel confident in continuing to work with this office. Plus, this office just has a very bad rating overall. As I stated, I didn't want to give any review, but I have to be honest about this.
Update: The number provided by the "owner" is for some random company, and it's not the same support number that I see provided to the other reviews. Interesting. Whatever.. this just continues to show me that these companies couldn't care less about resolving issues with the public, which is why their rating will stay right where it is.
