Terrible service. My mom tried to send a package to me through this store. She had the address written correctly on the package but the UPS employee entered it incorrectly in their system. When it never arrived at my house, my mother called and they blamed her. Apparently, it’s the customers responsibility to oversee and double check the work of the staff at this store. Not the staff, not a supervisor. They refused to deliver the package to the correct address, the address my mom had written on the package, and said they would charge her again if they delivered it to the correct address. Again, this was their error. The onus is not on the customer to review employee work. The staff should be trained to do simple tasks like entering addresses correctly and double checking their own work. My mom wrote the address correctly. She doesn’t work for ups. This is not her responsibility. Also, it’s a bit alarming that they never contacted her to say the package was undelivered. They had her phone number. That’s how they looked up the package information. The package was sitting there for weeks. (I had left the country so was unaware that it never arrived.) What was their intention? Finders keepers? Zero follow up when they screwed up is cherry on top of this garbage customer “service.”

Since the new owner took over there have been many changes. I like the staff but unfortunately every time you go there is a new staff. And usually that is due to poor management and training.. I sent out a package and gave the nice lady the phone to copy the address, she did it then asked me to review the address. Because she was very busy and alone I ( my mistake) just signed off on it. The package came back and I explained to the owner what happened and he very rudely said it was not his problem and I'd have to pay to reship. What I have a problem with is his attitude and dismissive behavior. I will be taking my personal and my business packages elsewhere.

I had an extremely frustrating and frankly unacceptable experience at this UPS Store location while attempting to notarize a court petition. I presented a valid foreign passport that is USCIS-stamped and contains a clearly visible U.S. visa — which fully meets Florida’s identification requirements for notarization. Despite this, the staff refused service and incorrectly insisted that only a U.S. ID would be accepted. Let’s be clear: this is not a matter of store preference. Florida law explicitly allows notarization using a foreign passport with a USCIS stamp, and UPS’s own published guidelines confirm acceptance of government-issued IDs written in Latin characters. When I pointed this out, instead of verifying the information or correcting their mistake, the staff dismissed the issue by saying that “UPS stores are franchises and don’t have to follow all the rules.” That statement alone is alarming. Notarization is a regulated legal act, not an optional service where employees can invent their own standards. The refusal felt less like a misunderstanding and more like a complete unwillingness to engage with someone presenting a foreign document, despite it being fully compliant. At best, this reflects a serious lack of training. At worst, it comes across as blatantly xenophobic. What makes this even more disappointing is how easily this could have been resolved with a basic level of professionalism: checking the law, reviewing internal guidelines, or simply listening. None of that happened. If you need notary services handled correctly and without bias, I strongly recommend going elsewhere. This location clearly does not understand — or chooses to ignore — the legal responsibilities tied to notarization. Florida senate law 117.05: 117.05(5)(b)2. Reasonable reliance on the presentation to the notary public of any one of the following forms of identification, if the document is current or has been issued within the past 5 years and bears a serial or other identifying number: a. A Florida identification card or driver license... b. A passport issued by the Department of State of the United States; c. A passport issued by a foreign government if the document is stamped by the United States Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services; d. A driver license or identification card issued by another state...
