After waiting in line and finally reaching the service window, I was abruptly informed that all three appointments had been canceled. No advance notice of any kind was provided. What made the situation worse was the dismissive and rude attitude of the representative, Wanda. She showed no concern for the inconvenience or the fact that I had brought a newborn out specifically for this appointment. The same lack of care was shown toward other families who also arrived for canceled appointments. Wanda claimed that a “Maria Aquino” had canceled the appointments via email, which is simply untrue. To this day, I have never received any cancellation notice. Being told otherwise felt like an attempt to deflect responsibility rather than resolve the issue. This experience was extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and unnecessarily stressful—especially for families with young children. I’ll be reporting this to USPS in hopes that the system at this branch and the messaging (or messages) improve because this is certainly not the service that our tax dollars should be paying for.
