This is not the first time I’ve had a bad experience at this post office location. The customer service here is consistently unprofessional and rude. There is a man with a black beard and black hair who works at the counter, and he is always very disrespectful to customers. He speaks in a rude tone, makes people wait unnecessarily, and frequently walks to the back to talk instead of assisting the long line of people waiting. On multiple occasions, there hasn’t even been a single pen available for customers to use. This is basic customer service in a public facility. I have also personally witnessed staff members raising their voices and yelling at customers. It is very unfortunate and unacceptable to see people being treated this way in a public service office. Another time, I was told they could not assist me because they were doing passport appointments. Instead of managing the situation professionally, it felt like they were trying to turn people away. This is a public service office. People deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism. Customer service should mean exactly that — service to customers. Unfortunately, this location repeatedly fails to provide even basic courtesy.

Rude woman and complaining the whole time about being alone. She left me unattended because neither she or I have a pen to write the address and call the next person in line.

I went today with my baby in arms and with an appointment booked days ago to do my 3 months old baby’s passport. No one was there to assist. The only person there said no one else was there that he was all working the day, unbelievable.

I want to start off by saying that the old woman with black hair that works there, was rude as hell. But when the attitude was matched, she pipped down. I went early to my passport appt because it would give me time to get anything that I might be missing. I missed one thing and old girl said “well today you’re not” meaning that I wasn’t going to be seen. I said “oh yes I am, my appt isn’t for another 30 min”. Her eyes opened wide and she realized she was wrong. All of a sudden her little attitude went out the door and the nice customer service came in. I give them a one star rating because if that’s the face you have representing usps behind the desk, then you need to do way better. The employee doing the passport processing was a complete doll. Very helpful. However I rather drive to BFE than ever going to that usps again.
